Mike Green

Hi I'm Mike Green, owner, and also a Presenter at Skyline 102.5FM. Here are a few things that you don't really need to know about me: I've been a DJ since the mid 60's, it all started in 1964 when I first heard Radio Caroline and from then I knew, somehow, a DJ's life was for me.

I started the "Bootlace Disco" in 1966 and have been a DJ/Radio Presenter ever since. The 50's, 60's and 70's are my speciality years; my own favourites coming from the late 50's and early 60's. Danny and the Juniors "At the Hop" and Bobby Darin's "Dream Lover" are amongst my all-time favourites. Obviously "American Graffitti" is a favourite film but so is "Kelly's Heroes".

As well as collecting records I also have a passion for old Radio and TV programmes especially the memorable adverts and jingles. I like classic cars and motorcycles and by now you will have guessed that I still think in feet and inches! My dislikes are the Nanny State with its over the top PC telling us what we can't say, think or do. So that's me and thankyou for taking the time to read it. That's all Folks!

Oh, and if you would like to contact me please email
